Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a famous American performer and actress. Parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Bell was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. She is born in Polish heritage (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen's talents for performing were found at a young age. She was just 12 when she went to her first audition, and was able to win the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother established her with an agent prior to her turning 13 and she was cast for television and newspaper commercials. At this time Bell also started classes in acting. Bell was credited with a minor performance as a character Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music as well as the drama club. Bell was chosen to play the lead role as Dorothy in her high school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell went on to study in musical theater at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell completed her studies in 2001, resigned her college studies in order to take on in the role of Becky in Tom Sawyer. The same year she appeared in Pootie Tang However, the sequence in which she played the role was removed. As a result, there is only a credit sequence. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
