Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American model and a singer. She is also a co-star in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain. The most well-known of her works is the lead in Prince's 1984 Purple Rain film and lead vocalist in the girl group Apollonia 6 The actor and singer named Apollonia by Prince became one of many female artists in the '80s to benefit from her association with the Purple One. Patricia Kotero was born in Santa Monica, California in 1959. Her career started with modeling in the 1970s. She also appeared on CHiPS. In 1984, the actress was chosen to play the lead actress in Prince's Purple Rain. Later, she returned to the school and to study filmmaking, and formed her own production company, often working on television for children. Apollonia has many hats.
